TOUR DESCRIPTION

The capital city of Kashmir- Srinagar is world renowned for its handloom that produces woolen garments and Pashmina shawls. Srinagar also acquaints you with the local handicrafts and hand carved wooden furniture made out of walnut tree.

Day 01
Arrival from srinagar Srinagar locals
Meet upon the arrival and Proceed for local sightseeing visiting Mughal Gardens cheshmashahi,NishatBagh (Abode of pleasure)Built by Asif Khan Brother-in-law of Emperor Jehangir in 1632AD and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountain in the background .Late afternoon Shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting floating and walnut woodcarving and Paper Machine making demonstration. Overnight stay in Hotel
Day 02
Srinagar sonmarg srinagar
Full day excursion to Sonamarg meadows of Gold the distance of about 83kms will be covered in 2-3 hrs. Sonamarg lies in Sindh valley stream with flowers and surrounded by mountains Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan lakes nightstay at srinagar hotel
Day 03
Srinagar gulmarg srinagar
Meet upon arrival and drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts above sea level. The distance of 52kms will be covered in about 2 hrs.Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. Overnight stay in Hotel at Srinagar
Day 04
Srinagar to pahalgam
After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (valley of shepherds).The distance of about 95kms kms will be covered in about 3hrs. Enroute visiting Saffron fields,Awantipora ruins (1100yrs old temple of Lord Vishnu built by Kingy Awantiverma),see the beautiful countryside on the way and lot of rice fields. Drive through pine forests. Arrive Pahalgam transfer to hotel. Later have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of magnificent view of mountains. Overnight stay in Hotel at Srinagar

Pahalgam to srinagar
After breakfast drive to srinagar nightstay at srinagar Houseboat

Information:
1) Pre paid sim cards don’t work in J&K due to security reasons, only postpaid connections will work.
2) If you wish to go for Pony/Horse ride / Sledging / Rafting / Skiing / Skating etc the rates are highly negotiable. Please bargain to your max.
3) You are required to hire a local cab to visit Aru Valley, Betaab Valley &Chandanwari as per the rules passed by the Taxi Union of Pahalgam. (Approx. Cost Rs. 1800 – 2000 per vehicle)
4) In case of snow while going to Gulmarg our vehicle will be provided only up to a point called Tangmarg after that chained vehicles will be required (At your own expense) ( Tangmarg to Gulmarg – 13 kms ),however full assistance will be provided to board the required vehicle..
Cancellation Policy:-
- Up to 15 days (Excluding departure date): 25% of the package cost.
- Up to 8-14 days (Excluding departure date): 50% of the package cost
- Up to 4-7 days (Excluding departure date): 75% of the package cost
- Less than 3 days (Excluding departure date): 100% of the package cost
